Description

Cool off with this creamy, refreshing Brazilian Lemonade! Made with fresh limes & sweetened condensed milk, it’s the perfect summer drink. Try it now! πŸ‹πŸ₯€

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh limes, washed and quartered
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Optional Add-Ins:

  • A pinch of salt to enhance flavors
  • Coconut milk for a tropical twist
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Blend the Limes

  1. Place the quartered limes and cold water into a blender.
  2. Pulse the blender a few times (about 5-6 short pulses). Avoid over-blending, as it can make the drink bitter from the lime peels.

Step 2: Strain the Mixture

  1. Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher.
  2. Use a spoon to press down and extract as much liquid as possible, discarding the remaining lime pulp.

Step 3: Add Sweetness & Creaminess

  1. Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix well until the lemonade becomes smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the Brazilian Lemonade over the ice and garnish with lime slices or mint leaves.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy this creamy, tangy, and refreshing drink!

Notes

  • Use fresh limes: The fresher the limes, the better the flavor! Avoid overripe or dull-colored limes.
  • Don’t over-blend: Blending too much can release bitter flavors from the lime rinds.
  • Serve immediately: Brazilian Lemonade tastes best when fresh. Over time, it may become slightly bitter due to oxidation.
  • Adjust the sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter drink, add more sugar or condensed milk to taste.
