Description

These Cherry Pie Bites are a sweet, bite-sized treat with all the classic pie flavor—perfect for parties or a quick dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet refrigerated pie crust (or homemade)
  • ½ cup cherry pie filling (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional for topping)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Cut the Dough

  • Roll out the pie crust and cut into 2½–3 inch rounds using a cookie cutter or glass.

Step 3: Fill the Bites

  • Spoon a small amount (about 1 tsp) of cherry filling into the center of half the dough rounds.
  • Place another round on top, pressing the edges with a fork to seal.

Step 4: Add the Egg Wash

  • Beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water. Brush the tops of the bites and sprinkle with sugar if desired.

Step 5: Bake & Cool

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
