Description
Rich, creamy, and packed with Oreo goodness — this Oreo Dirt Pie is a fun, no-bake dessert the whole family will love. Perfect for any sweet tooth!
Ingredients
- 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened (optional for extra creaminess)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Gummy worms and extra Oreos for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Crush the Oreos
- In a food processor, pulse Oreos into fine crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping.
Step 2: Make the Crust
- Mix the remaining Oreo crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a pie dish or 8×8-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Prepare the Pudding
- In a medium bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Step 4: Make the Filling
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese (if using) until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping, vanilla extract, and prepared pudding until fully combined and fluffy.
Step 5: Assemble the Pie
- Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the Oreo crust. Sprinkle reserved cookie crumbs on top.
Step 6: Decorate
- Top with gummy worms and extra crushed Oreos to look like “dirt”.
Step 7: Chill
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Notes
- Use instant pudding — it thickens quickly and keeps it no-bake.
- Chill overnight for the best texture and flavor.
- Add cream cheese for a thicker, cheesecake-like filling.
