Description
Make cheesy, gooey pepperoni pizza bombs at home in 30 minutes! Perfect party snack or weeknight treat.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 16 slices pepperoni
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus more for dipping)
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Optional: grated Parmesan and chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2: Prepare the Dough
- Flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch round. You can use your hands or a rolling pin. This will make it easier to fold in the filling.
Step 3: Fill with Love
- Place a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each dough round. Add 2 slices of pepperoni and a generous pinch of shredded mozzarella.
Step 4: Seal the Bombs
- Carefully bring the edges of the dough together, pinching to seal and forming a ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Step 5: Brush with Flavor
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush each pizza bomb generously.
Step 6: Bake Until Golden
- Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Keep an eye on them — every oven’s a little different!
Step 7: Garnish and Serve
- Optional but delicious: sprinkle with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Add a surprise inside: Stuff in a slice of jalapeño or a cube of mozzarella for a melty center.
- Make it meatless: Swap pepperoni for sautéed mushrooms or black olives.
- Make ahead: Assemble and refrigerate up to 4 hours before baking.
