Description
This Whipped Chocolate recipe is rich, airy, and incredibly easy. Perfect for chocolate lovers year-round!
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (chilled)
- ½ cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips (or chopped bar)
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, for sweetness)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Optional Toppings
- Shaved chocolate
- Fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- Whipped cream
- Mint leaves
- Crushed cookies or nuts
Instructions
Step 1: Melt the Chocolate
- In a heat-safe bowl, melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Let the chocolate cool slightly so it’s warm but not hot—this prevents curdling when combined with cream.
Step 2: Whip the Cream
- In a large chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium-high speed.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla excerpt, and a pinch of swab.
- Continue whipping until soft peaks form.
Step 3: Fold in the Chocolate
- Gently fold the cooled melted chocolate into the whipped cream in batches using a spatula.
- Mix until fully incorporated and smooth. Be careful not to deflate the cream too much.
Step 4: Chill and Serve
- Spoon the whipped chocolate into small glasses or ramekins.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Add your favorite toppings just before serving.
